Privacy

Lens Link collects the information needed to run the marketplace, not to invent new reasons to profile people.

This policy summarizes the account, payment, usage, communications, and optional PD-related data handling already described in the mobile application.

Information we collect

Account information includes your name, email address, password, account type (Seller or Buyer), and profile information. We also process billing and payment information through secure third-party providers, along with app usage data, device information, and crash logs.

Communications and support

Messages exchanged between buyers and sellers via the App and customer support inquiries may be stored so Lens Link can resolve issues, fulfill orders, and improve the reliability of buyer and seller workflows.

Face data and biometric-related information

When you use features that require facial measurement (such as pupillary distance measurement), the App may temporarily process facial information using Apple’s TrueDepth camera and ARKit. The App processes eye position and facial geometry data in real time to calculate pupillary distance (PD). This data is used only on-device. Raw face scans, depth maps, video frames, or facial images are NOT stored, saved, or transmitted. Only the final numerical PD measurement may be retained if the user chooses to save it to their profile.

How we use information

Lens Link uses collected information to provide and maintain App features, process transactions and payments, verify accounts and prevent fraud, communicate important updates, improve the App and analyze usage trends, calculate pupillary distance measurements when requested, and comply with legal obligations. Face data processed via the TrueDepth camera is used solely to perform real-time optical measurements requested by the user and for no other purpose.
